"Hello friends!

I have worked in secondary education for over 20 years! I started at a small private school near Boulder, Colorado and worked there for 5 years. I currently work at Peak to Peak Charter School, located in Lafayette, Colorado and have worked at Peak for 20 years. Although I teach middle school Language Arts, I also have experience with high school.

I love teaching and connecting with students and families! I believe working with families is paramount to the success of my students! I am often praised by my principals for my ability to communicate authentically and honestly.

I am very passionate about teaching English, writing and editing. I have the ability to scaffold assignments successfully so each student is challenged based on their individual needs and experiences.
