"Hey there! I'm a long time tutor and coach and love helping my students find a way to make information *click* and find joy in learning.

My background is in the hard sciences, with a Bachelor's in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Cellular and Developmental Biology from Cornell University.

I have since pivoted my career to business and worked at a top-3 management consulting firm (MBB) and in healthcare strategic leadership at both start-ups and large Pharma.

I have taught students from 4th grade to adults since 2005, and started tutoring consistently from 2010 as a scientist and Ph.D. candidate.

My students have successfully enrolled into magnet schools, Ivy league and other top tier colleges, competitive graduate and medical programs, and into highly selective professional careers. I have tutored a range of specific subjects from Elementary math to AP Biology, Physics, Economics and US History, as well as provided skills based coaching for college essay writing and interviewing, professional prep (including case interviewing, graduate level exams), passing the USCIS Civics exam, among others.

I have taught students in a variety of settings, either within a school setting, at their home as a private tutor or online, but I have also had the fun opportunities to teach in community centers, libraries, and even teach regular classes a Seattle makerspace (for advanced software and laser fabrication!)
