Math is something I love spending time on. I enjoy challenging my mind. I have always liked math, but it did not always come easily to me. I struggled through Algebra 1 in high school. When I got to college, I was afraid I wouldn't be able to pass College Algebra. So, I chose a major that didn't require any math. Then, I ended up marrying an engineer. Knowing Stephen was by my side, I had the courage to return to college for a second degree. My major was MATH!! I began teaching at the Junior College Level before I finished my math degree. After graduating with a math degree, I taught 7th grade math and Pre-algebra at a middle school for one year. I have been teaching high school, Algebra I - Geometry - Algebra II, since 2007. I also now have a successful tutoring business which gives me great pleasure. I get very excited each time one of my students tells me, "I PASSED MY TEST!"
I love to help students reach their goals. I especially like to see them go from Elementary Math on to Prealgebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Precalculus and Calculus.
