"My teaching certificate is for K-12 with a minor in psychology. I have tutored for many years with a wide range of ages. I've worked with children in kindergarten- freshman year with a variety of subjects. I love working with students who feel defeated by any subject because that was me! I have a knack for getting them to understand the concepts that they are not catching onto. My tutoring sessions are relaxed, comfortable and laughter all alongside "sneaking" in the tutoring experience. I tap into your child's learning strengths- how they retain the best- auditory, visual or kinesthetic (hands on) or any combination. Every child learns differently and it's my job to figure that out and teach to their needs. We have a lot of fun but get a lot of learning accomplished too! Building their self esteem is one the top of my to do list with every student. Without confidence they will not have a drive or motivation to learn. That's why I make it fun!
