"The upcoming school term will be my fourth year as a teacher. I am a certified teacher at Kid's Community College Middle Charter School, located in Riverview, Florida. I have had such a WONDERFUL experience teaching. I was blessed to have had such an awesome group of students and parents.

I am a proud graduate of Florida State University, married, and the father of one son. My career path has consisted of law enforcement, as well as adult and juvenile counseling, and youth ministry.

I continue to believe that our CHILDREN MUST COME FIRST! I will continue to create an environment that is safe, supports risk taking, and invites sharing of ideas. We have incredible students and amazing, supportive families! Teaching is fun and allows me to go deeper into the curriculum. I specialize in tutoring Mathematics for students in 3rd to 9th grade. I often like to present a method or concept to a student and allow the student to discover ways of solving for a solution, in this way I feel students begin "owning" an idea. I also find that it's most helpful to model the concept being taught then provide the students with multiple problems. Some students learn in a variety of ways, so I am able to connect learning mathematics into the real world activities, such as shopping, games, music, dancing, etc.
