Mrs. A. has the ability to use multiple different assessments to discover where students have phonics deficits and strengths. After assessing, Mrs. A. is skilled in using various programs and materials to create an individualized program of instruction to help students improve their reading skills.
As with phonics, Mrs. A. has an in depth knowledge of English phonology, graphemology and morphology. Helping students understand these concepts improves their spelling skills.
