"I am Gary. I love all things technical. My dad bought me lessons from bell and howel school of electronics when I was 10. I completed the courses by the time I was 12. I was the youngest student that they had. We learned electronics, and built several electronic devices. This was probably one of the best things that I have done.

I have been tutoring for over 40 years. I started tutoring at ARC (American River College) back in 1978. I attended classes in math, chemistry, physics, electronics, and programming. I love all things technical. That would be all of the STEM subjects, and I love to tutor them. At ARC, I tutored math, chemistry, physics, and computer science. I love working with students and help them grow their knowledge.
I moved on to CSUS back in 1980. There are started as a chemistry major. I worked as a tutor for chemistry. I tutored at the college and at students houses. I tutored all ages, although I tutor high school and college students. I also tried electrical and electronic engineering.
I finally moved on to National University, where I earned my BS in computer science. I have been working as a programmer for over 30 years.
I started attending FLC (Folsom Lake College) back in 2005. I attended several classes and became a member of Phi Theta Kappa (an honor society requiring a GPA of at least 3.5). I became a tutor, mainly tutoring chemistry. Back then, they did not even have a place for the tutors. We met mainly at the library, or off campus at the library. I have been tutoring there ever since. I now tutor math, chemistry, physics, some statistics, some engineering, computer science. I am the tutor with the longest history at the college.
I would love to get to know you and help you with your learning. Learning should be a fun experience. It is one of the best things that we can do, to always try to learn and understand our world, and how this universe of ours works. I look forward to hearing from you." less...
