"I have been a creative writing workshop leader for young people at the Greenburgh Arts and Culture Committee in Westchester County , NY for the last 23 Years . Working with them is one of my great joys. I have also been a writing, reading & literature tutor, a writing coach for adults, along with being a book editor. I have a Master's Degree in English Education from New York University.

As an experienced language arts tutor and an author, I am attuned to the writing process and sensitive to the writing challenges of my students. I believe in focusing on vocabulary skills because they are at the very heart of our ability to communicate. I have developed my own system using art and the thesaurus to help build broader and richer vocabularies in my students.
