"I'm Giacomo and I teach Italian at the University of Oregon. Before teaching here, I've been teaching Italian in Spain as a conversation auxiliary and Spanish and English in Italy. So, I know how to deal with these three languages and students who want to learn them. I started teaching when I was 22 and since then, I never stopped. I have taught at the university, in high schools and tutored a lot of students, ranging from teens to old people.

I like inspiring curiosity and knowledge while doing my job and I think every teacher should be a good inspirer and a sympathetic mentor.

I'm Italian and my interests range from literature to grammar and linguistics. I've been studying Spanish for ten years and living in Spain for one year. In that occasion I had the opportunity to teach my first language and acquire more knowledge about Spanish. Teaching has helped me a lot to learn.
