"I have been teaching Intro to Biology at Flagler College for the past five years. I still teach a class in the Spring and the Fall. I am looking to tutor over the summer and continue some in the semesters. I have also taught Environmental Science before. I got my Masters degree for Biology from UCF in 2014. I also work full time for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection Northeast District as an air permit writing and air compliance inspector. I have a talent for breaking down complicated subjects so that they are easier to understand. I don't have a ton of experience on the tutoring side, but I am hoping to change that.

In graduate school my thesis covered the density-dependent phenotypic plasticity of the American birdwing grasshopper. This follows the evolution of the locust behavior phenomenon that originated from the desert locust. I conducted behavior experiments, reared grasshopper colonies in isolated and crowded populations, and conducted molecular bench work to determine the phylogeny of the species.
