"My mission is to offer affordable, individualized academic support to students in need. I believe that every child can succeed academically with the correct resources and support. Sometimes that extra support is needed outside of the classroom and I feel I can fill that role. My other passion is advocating for and teaching children with special needs. I have over 20 years of experience in the education field. My undergraduate and masters degrees are in Elementary and Special Education (Keuka College). My doctorate is in Executive Leadership at St. John Fisher College. I have 20 years of experience in education serving as an elementary school teacher, a lead special education teacher, a student affairs professional, a home educator and a life skills coach.

I love being able to see a child grow as a life long learner, not only improving their academic skills, but build confidence and learn necessary skills to succeed in life. I also firmly believe that every child can learn and enjoy seeing children who may have been given up on succeed!

I have a vast array of knowledge with the common core standards in Grades K-6, tutoring many students in the math concepts within the curriculum each year. I use a hands on, active approach to teaching students with real life applications which seems to help students grasp the concepts. I also incorporate monthly assessments to track and monitor progress.

I have a vast array of teaching experience in many subject areas that allows me to work with students and their parents to adapt to what they may be needing help or assistance with.
