"Having trouble with math? Need help writing your college application essay? Whether you're a parent of a younger student or a student yourself, I can help you! I love science, math, history, writing, pretty much all of it. From kindergarten to high school, and even into some college subjects, I will help you through the tough academic times.

I am a college graduate with two degrees in biology from Humboldt State University (zoology- the study of animals- and microbiology- the study of microbes, like bacteria). I've also got Master's degree in Farming & Agriculture Law/Policy through Vermont Law School. I have been tutoring for about 20 years now, since I was a freshman in high school. I have had students of a wide range of ages- kindergarten to high school being my strongest suit.

My method:

-Find a quiet space for us to focus.

-Recognize your strengths and weaknesses.

-Work on those weakness, while utilizing your strengths.

I'm a tough love kind of tutor. I'm putting in the effort to help you, so I hope you'll put in the effort to learn. I promise to make the learning exciting and different. There are lots of different ways to learn, and I know not everyone is the same. I promise lots of laughter and maybe even a 2-minute dance party break to reduce stress and to clear the mind.
