"As an outgoing and tech-savvy educator, I hold both a Master of Education in Learning & Educational Technology from Western Governors University (2018) and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with a Math Emphasis from Grand Canyon University (2012). Committed to continuous learning, I've pursued additional certifications, including National Urban Alliance DEI Workshop (2021), AVID Training Conference (2016), UW Complex Instruction Workshop (2016), and Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP) Training (2015).

With a decade of teaching experience, I've engaged students in various capacities. My journey includes teaching Algebra, Geometry, Marketing, and Personal Finance to grades 6-12, with a focus on tailoring curriculum to diverse learner needs. I've served in Title 1 schools, employing innovative teaching methods and fostering open communication. I have taught classrooms of 30+ students as well as small groups and 1-on-1 extended learning opportunities. Within the community I tutor adults at the library who struggle balancing bills and money.
