"I have a Master's in Environmental Science and a Bachelor's in Biology and am willing to give help in most life sciences. I have approximately 1-2 years of professional microbiology work, a degree in biology, finishing up another Master's degree in environmental sciences with a specialty in environmental ecology. I have worked 3 years in nuclear chemistry, 2 years as a naturalist in the state parks, and am currently employed as an environmental analyst.

I have been tutoring and teaching for students of all ages and background for about 10+ years now. I have worked with students who were either afraid of science, didn't care about science, couldn't understand it or a combination of all three. So far, I've had good success in teaching and explaining ideas to the students. I find that in trying to teach someone, you have to inspire a small amount of passion in the subject at hand and more specifically, try and connect to the student. A tutor isn't for generic teaching, it's to get that type of one-on-one connection that can be tailored to the person needing a hand in the subject. This is what I try to bring to the table every time.
