"I am a classical new music pianist and alt chamber pop songwriter splitting my time between the music scenes of LA, Chicago, and Ukraine. I have a BA in Music from Pomona College and an MFA from California Institute of the Arts, where I studied piano, harp, music production, and music technology with Grammy-awarded artists such as Vicki Ray (piano), John Baffa (recording arts, advanced mixing techniques), and Alison Bjorkedal (harp). Outside of my personal pop and piano performance project, I am an in-demand session pianist, having held positions such as opera rehearsal pianist, musical theater accompanist, orchestral pianist, studio session pianist, vocal and choral accompanist, as well as solo and chamber new music pianist. I have premiered countless new music works by my colleagues and have experience in the latest cutting-edge experimental piano playing techniques.

My teaching is deeply student-centered. I bring all knowledge, methods, and skills I have to what you have in mind and to what goals you are after--whether beginner or advanced. I have experience teaching standard piano repertoire, piano composition, music production, including mixing and mastering, as well as applied piano for songwriting, including making scores for songs using Sibelius. I have taught preschool through undergrad and enjoy teaching all ages equally.
