A firm believer in perseverance and learning, I decided to become an educator from being an engineer ( B.E. electronics Engineering) and a small scale industry loans expert. I embarked on my chosen path by earning a B.A. in Mathematics. My multi-faceted industry experience enables me to explain application of mathematics in everyday life and in highly technical careers. I make the subject more relevant and interesting by making connections to real life situations. This helps students understand and retain the concepts better.

I am a certified High School Mathematics (CE 1900) and Technology Education (CE 1810) teacher.

I tutor AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, Algebra II, Algebra I , ACT Math and SAT Math. I have also taught SAT Subject Math II. I haven been teaching SAT Math at Y2 Academy since 2017. I have worked as a substitute teacher in Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District at middle and high school level. I have volunteered to teach mathematics to adults to help them prepare for GED through Literacy Volunteers of Union County, I have also conducted SAT Math workshops at Fanwood Memorial Library as a volunteer. Due to my varied experiences, I have the ability to adapt to different types of learning styles. I am able to connect to students with diverse backgrounds and learning abilities and help them with the subject content.
