"My name is George, and I have over 15 years of tutoring experience. A time that keeps extending because I have come to realize that I like helping others learn. Almost all of my tutoring time has been applied to helping college students and adults, but would not have a problem with younger students. I tutored at a university so all my help was offered in person, one-on-one, whether it was homework, an assignment, prepare for an exam or simply someone looking to learn a specific topic. I was able to use my patience in an interest and that is through tutoring, in some cases by using the student's notes from class or just the book so I can help them learn the way their instructor teaches their material or explain it in a different manner so that a student can understand it better. An advantage of trying to learn math is that there can be more than one way to solve a problem, helpful to us because not everyone learns the same way so if a student did not understand the first time I would try to explain it in a different manner, adjusting to every student.

I received a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting. I began to tutor, soon thereafter, in Accounting and was soon approached by students needing help in different Math courses. Being able to be analytical gave me the opportunity to tutor Math material and problem solve. Knowing there is an answer and working to find it, is what I love about numbers. With this I try to guide the student to solve the answer by asking them questions to lead them so they can do it on their own first.

Most of my experience has come with college material in undergrad levels such as college Algebra with Finite, Statistics, Financial Accounting (Introduction and Intermediate), Corporate Finance, and Cost and Managerial Accounting so I look to help people who are struggling with those classes.
