"Originally from Pensacola, FL, I graduated from the International Baccalaureate Program at Pensacola High School. I am a recipient of the Mark Pinnell Memorial Scholarship for excellence in English and a foreign language (French). I completed my Bachelor's degree at Vassar College where I double-majored in French and Francophone Studies and Drama. I minored in Art History. I went on to complete my first Master's degree at Dartmouth College where I received a Masters of Arts in Liberal Studies, analyzing the entertainment industry from historical, business, legal, and creative perspectives. I love learning and like to make it fun for those that I am teaching! I have tutored French and have taught swim lessons since I was a collegiate champion on the All-Seven Sisters Team at Vassar.

I have spoken French since the age of 5 and was educated in French grammar and culture for over 17 years. I have won two scholarships due to excellence in French and am a member of the French National Honor Society. French and Francophone Studies was one of my majors at Vassar College.

I have won a scholarship for excellence in English and have always received high marks in English courses. I had the highest grade in my high school's graduating International Baccalaureate class for my Extended Essay. I am a native speaker and also write professionally as both a songwriter and a screenwriter. I have also worked for literary magazines at the high school and graduate school level and have experience proofreading for grammar and spelling. I have always been an impeccable speller.
