"As a retired teacher with over 14 years of experience, I've had the privilege of teaching students of all ages, including those with dyslexia and other reading disabilities. My specialization lies in providing personalized one-on-one tutoring sessions, uniquely tailored to each student's needs.

I will assess your child's current level of knowledge and then create an individualized learning plan that will help them progress at their own pace. I utilize a structured and science-based approach to reading instruction known as Orton-Gillingham, an individualized, diagnostic and prescriptive program. The sessions are 50 minutes long and should be held at least twice a week. I've personally witnessed its effectiveness in assisting students with reading difficulties.

With a Master of Science in Education from Hofstra University and certification in the Orton-Gillingham approach, my experience spans 14 years of teaching and an additional two years of dedicated reading tutoring.
