"I am a Medical Doctor from Colombia, South America. Graduated from Universidad de los Andes Medical School 2013. Since my graduation, I have been practicing medicine as license general physician as well as surgical assistant. Besides my professional activities, I am the co-founder of the Academic Surgery Research Group "ASURG" in which I work as the Research Team Coordinator. So far, I have been working on several research projects and recently co-author the paper: "Strangulated internal hernia by giant Meckel diverticulum presented as acute appendicitis" for the International Journal of Surgery Case Reports.
While in US, I decided to restart what I used to do during medical school: To teach. I used to give English, Biology, Math and Anatomy tutoring during 5 years to people different group ages: 7 to 40 years old. I have found tutoring a relaxing therapy and a way to help others to acquire knowledge as well as a good support resource.
Grade average in Elementary Math "A" plus experience in teaching the subject.
