"Hello, My name is Adam! I graduated college with a Bachelor's in Biotechnology with a minor in Mathematics before obtaining my Master's in Biotechnology and will be starting medical school in the fall of 2024. One of my greatest joys is tutoring and helping students achieve their academic goals!

During my time in school, I fell in love with teaching while serving as a learning assistant for organic chemistry, an undergraduate teaching assistant for general chemistry, a math and science tutor for the University Tutoring Center, and a graduate teaching assistant for an advanced biochemistry laboratory course. I helped teach organic chemistry for two years in college as a learning assistant and tutor, where I held group and one-on-one tutoring sessions multiple times a week. I got A's in both semesters of organic chemistry, which has become one of my favorite subjects to tutor! I also have multiple years of one-on-one and group tutoring experience in general chemistry, biology courses, mathematics through Calculus II, physics, and biochemistry, where I received A's in all the courses I tutored.

My goal as an effective tutor is to provide the knowledge and problem-solving skills required for success in any math and science class. Whether reviewing material from a lecture or a textbook, working through practice problems, or speaking generally about topics, I am always willing to do what is needed to guide students toward a successful path. Each student's learning style and strengths are unique, and I adapt and customize my tutoring approach to fit each student to help make their learning experience as easy and comprehensible as possible. I also strive to make each tutoring experience as engaging, fun, and enjoyable as possible!
