"I've always had an itch to help others understand the intricacies of science, math, and engineering in the academic world. While at this point in time, I do not have any wish to pursue a teaching certificate, I would like to do what I can to promote Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in the minds of those that are willing to try harder in those subjects.

My experience includes tutoring student athletes at my alma mater, University of Utah, where I graduated with a 3.38 GPA and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (as well as minors in Naval Science and Physics). During this time, I was a personal math tutor to two athletes and a physics tutor to one, as well as having open office hours for those with general math or science questions. As I only discovered this my senior year at the University, I only taught for my final semester; however, all of my students did very well in their classes and finals under my tutelage.

I have experience through Calculus III, partial and ordinary differential equations, basic computer science programming, dynamics/statics, mechatronics, thermodynamics, robotics, nuclear and particle physics, optical physics, and quantum physics. I can provide supplemental teaching in most math, engineering, and science topics.

I am available most evenings after 5 pm and on the weekends. I may not be available short notice, but the more lead time you give me the more likely I can help you out. My base rate is $40/hour, but I answer any short questions over message for free (after first lesson) and I don't keep the clock running if I have to look something up in the middle of a session.
