"Hi, I’m Alondra G! I’m passionate about working with children and supporting their growth through engaging learning experiences. As a Site Director at the YMCA, I lead a large afterschool program where I ensure a safe, fun, and enriching environment for all participants. My background includes experience in youth mentorship, educational programming, and community service.

I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with minors in Latin and Caribbean Studies and Social Work at the University at Albany. I’m proud to have earned a 3.65 GPA, been named to the Dean’s List, and received the Dr. Seth Spellman Student Award.

My previous roles as a Residential Assistant and an educator at the Chinese Planning Council’s ACE Head Program have strengthened my leadership, communication, and organizational skills. I’m also passionate about supporting underserved communities, which I demonstrated through my volunteer work with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, assisting at-risk teens.

In my free time, I enjoy finding new ways to promote learning through creative activities. With my advanced proficiency in Spanish and intermediate skills in Portuguese, I love connecting with diverse communities. I’m excited to continue making a positive impact on students’ lives!
