"Math can be challenging, but with the right approach, it becomes a subject that anyone can master. With nearly 20 years of experience teaching Mathematics and Statistics, I’ve had the privilege of working with students at all levels—from middle school and high school to college courses. I hold a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and am currently completing my Doctorate in Education. My background has allowed me to help a wide range of learners, including those who struggle with math anxiety and those looking to push their skills even further.
Over the years, I’ve developed a teaching style that focuses on understanding rather than memorization. I believe that when students truly grasp the “why” behind a concept, they gain the confidence to tackle even the toughest problems. I adapt each lesson to fit the student’s unique learning style, whether that means using visual explanations, step-by-step breakdowns, or real-world examples. My goal is to make math feel approachable and to help students build the problem-solving skills they need to succeed in any setting.
I also know that struggling with math can feel frustrating, but I see mistakes as a natural part of the learning process. That’s why I create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and working through challenges. Beyond just boosting grades or test scores, my goal is to help students see the value of math in everyday life and develop confidence in their abilities.
Whether you need help preparing for a test, strengthening foundational skills, or tackling advanced topics, I’m here to help. Let’s work together to make math something you feel good about!" less...
