"After success in math contests in high school I went to the University of Rochester, taking primarily math coursework for two years before deciding academia was a bad fit.

The biggest delight I take in mathematics is the feeling of triumph when realizing how to finish out a difficult solution - a feeling I look forward to helping others have the skills and confidence to feel.

I've always had a reputation among my classmates of being good with math, so time and again I've been approached to help my fellow students. Gladly helping them has built into a reasonable foundation of experience in tutoring mathematics.

For test prep, I was always interested in the concept of standardized tests and have done a considerable amount of research on how to approach them - research that I leveraged to achieve perfect scores in ACT Math, SAT Math II Subject Test, AP Calculus BC, SAT Chemistry Subject Test, and AP Chemistry.
