"As a higher education professional and psychologist for the past 25 years, my philosophy has to do with maximizing the potential in all students. I am a professor at The University of Massachusetts Global teaching courses in psychology, research and statistics at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels. My approach to teaching involves the use of concrete and specific examples followed by immediate assessment. The goal is to close "gaps" in learning to ensure that each student develops a competency and mastery of the material. I have earned 60 units in research and statistics covering undergraduate and graduate work. I serve as a contributing scholar for the Journal of Children and Schools through the National Association of Social Workers, Oxford University Press.

I am also a musician and have been playing guitar for over 40 years. I can teach guitar and from beginning to advanced levels covering arrangements, chords, riffing and scales. Students will learn their to play chords after their first lesson. I also teach drums covering basic patterns, fills and styles.
