"I am a professional educator with two decades of international experience. I have taught in Asia, the Middle East, Mexico, and the United States. I especially enjoy teaching one-to-one or small groups. Making complex topics understandable is my goal.

I am also a student of languages: Spanish, German, and French. I like to write and I am a published author.

I focus on the most useful vocabulary and grammar needed by the student. These include about three thousand words and a half dozen verb tenses. I believe daily practice of a language is essential to achieving progress.

I have three degrees in history, including a doctorate. I focus on key concepts that students need. I relate the study of history to the present.
