"Singing is one of the most liberating and evocative methods of communication a person can experience.
I have been teaching vocalization for the past forty years. I have a Masters in Music Education and a minor in English Studies. When tutoring vocals studies, I create engaging and comprehensive teaching lessons. The lesson plans are specific and focused on the individual need of the students. I have conducted international residencies and master classes in Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Senegal, and Brazil. I have, also, taught master classes at University Music Departments, Performance Centers, and Art Institutes in the United States. The tutored classes consist of studies ranging from: traditional bel canto techniques, vocal improvisation, sight singing, harmony, rhythm studies, vocal phrasing (scatting)over chord changes and modal structures, developing repertoire, and interpreting jazz standards. I, also, tutor performance technique, vocal recording technique, digital music production and music software using Cubase and Logic.
I want the students to benefit as much as possible from the tutoring lesson. So ,I gladly welcome any suggestions or input from the students or parents. I am very accessible and quick to respond to all inquiries regarding the tutoring information. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a lesson.
