"Hi, my name is Mark O. I am a Mechanical Engineer with a graduate level education and seasoned years of experience in the industry. I am absolutely passionate about mathematics, although it has not been this way as one might expect. When I was in middle school I disliked mathematics and even my mathematics teachers, as I failed and struggled in all my mathematics classes. My rapid turn-around occurred when my parents sought help from a tutor, of whom I owe a lot of what I have become today. Mr Bill did not only help me succeed in mathematics, but he instilled my passion for this subject. I desire to instill that same intense desire to learn and succeed in mathematics into another student who struggles with mathematics. I know how difficult and frustrating mathematics can be, but I can also attest to how much fun you can have when you realize the intrinsic nature of mathematics. Once the concepts start falling into place, you will begin to understand the inter-connectivity between all forms of mathematics and other school subjects.

I have several years of experience in teaching mathematics: Algebra, Pre-calculus, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, and Trigonometry. I have a good record of success from my past students within the short time of tutoring. Aside from teaching, I am an advanced level pianist and bass guitarist. I enjoy music a lot, but if I were to pick between music and mathematics, I certainly will go for mathematics.
