"My name is Sara and I am a certified teacher with my certification in General Studies for Early Education all the way up to 6th grade. I have always had a passion for teaching and that is why I pursued a career in it. I’ve had trainings from two of the largest school districts in El Paso which have really helped me to be the best that I can be in my teaching. Although my certification is only up to 6th grade, I am very familiar with middle and high school courses, and would be happy to tutor in a few subjects with those grade levels.

A big part of my teaching philosophy is that every student deserves a chance at a GREAT education, no matter what. Not only do I teach content, but I build confidence. I allow students to be open, relaxed, and and to let their walls down in order to maximize learning without anything distracting them. My goal to help as many kids succeed with strategies and learning tools that they can use forever.

I have my Texas teaching certification in Early Education to 6th grade.

I took many courses in high school and college (associates) in biology courses. Biology was my favorite course through my school years and I understand it easily. (Anatomy included)

I have worked with young children, pre-k and up, with lettering. I also have an almost 3 year daughter who I work with as well.

My teaching certification qualifies me to teach all elementary core subjects, I am also very knowledgeable in these subjects from my school days.

My passion has always been teach, whether it’s in my part time job while I was going to school, with my daughter, and especially with my students. I do not quit until the job is done, even if I’m not getting paid. I adapt to your learning style and we learn together." less...
