"Hi, I'm Caroline. I have a BS in Public Health from UNCG, and I'm currently a full time substitute high school teacher for Guilford County Schools and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School. I taught high school Math 1 for two years and spent 6 years at Forsyth Tech teaching GED/High School Equivalency math. I have also helped adult students with college-level developmental math courses they needed to progress in their program of study, be it a 4 year college degree, or a welding certificate.
While I am not a professional counselor, I have amassed some degree of experience helping people with anxiety related to math, and/or school in general. Anxiety and overwhelm can really be difficult to deal with and I offer a safe and non-judgemental place to help work through that so you can pass the class, or the test, or whatever it is you need! (And it’s okay to count on your fingers).
I only work on Sunday afternoons at this time, but please don’t hesitate to reach out if you think I might be able to help you!" less...
