"CIAO, my name is Claudio, I grew up in Napoli, Italy, where I received my Bachelor's Degree.

I continued my education in the US at California Lutheran University to pursue a career in teaching Italian.

At CLU, I pursued a teaching credential at which time I received high-level instructional training in the area of teaching literacy, reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

My passion for teaching the Italian language and culture led me to my current position as an Italian teacher in a public high school for the past 12 years. I have taught all levels of Italian, from 1 to 4. All levels include in-depth lessons of instruction in the areas of grammar, conversation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Further, students in my Italian 4 have had a passage success rate of 99% on the Advanced Placement Italian Exam and received a State and District Multi-lingual seal on their diploma.

Over the past 12 years, I have also tutored adults privately in both one on one and group settings. The lessons taught during these tutoring sessions were tailored to the individual or group's needs and goals. All lessons created were designed with the most highly effective teaching and learning strategies.
