"I was born and raised in Palermo, Sicily, where I completed my bachelor's and master's degree in teaching foreign languages and literature (English and German).

Since to the USA in 2004, I have taught Italian at a prestigious American university, a highly-regarded cultural institute, other private schools in the Washington D.C. area, and online via Skype. I've taught young kids, starting from 5 years old, to working professionals.

Throughout my career, I always received positive evaluations from my students. In 2006, I was named "Best Italian Tutor" by Berlioz language institute in Washington D.C. I love teaching my language and my culture, which has even included Italian cooking classes!

I am happy to tailor my lesson plan to include any topics that are of interest, including but not limited to travel language classes, basic to advanced grammar, business lexicon, literature, and cooking classes.
