"Hello! I am a recent graduate from Brown University, where I earned both an ScB and a Master's degree in Computer Science. CS is my speciality, but my passion for STEM in general means I have a great understanding of many topics such as Physics and Chemistry at a high-school level. My approach to tutoring is centered around leading with patience, focusing on your strengths, and using those strengths to foster a deep understanding in the material that you don't understand. I firmly believe that a supportive learning environment is crucial for effective education. I have employed these tactics successfully over about half a decade, with experience tutoring kids in high school and teaching as a swim instructor for many years.

In addition to this experience, and unlike many other STEM tutors, I have honed my communication and public speaking abilities through my extensive involvement in Mock Trial and business competitions. I have competed in Mock at both the high school and university levels, and I am proud to have captained the team four times. As a captain, I have trained dozens of incoming competitors to excel in their performances and have earned multiple awards for my work. I’ve also performed top-4 at the international level in business competitions, and have excelled at adapting my presentations to many audiences; I'll know exactly how to work with *you* in particular, and how to tailor my lessons to make sure *you* will grow, succeed, and gain confidence in yourself.
