"Dear Potential Students,
I am thrilled at the opportunity to support your academic or professional journey! With a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from St. Lawrence University, I have a strong foundation in mathematics and analytical concepts. As an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), I bring a wealth of expertise in advanced quantitative topics, ensuring that my guidance is both practical and comprehensive.
Over the past decade, I have honed my skills as a tutor and mentor, working with students of all ages and backgrounds. My experience ranges from helping high school students excel in AP math courses and SAT/GRE Math prep to guiding college students through challenging statistics and actuarial science topics, with high scores in each of these exams. I’ve also worked with professionals seeking to sharpen their skills in data analytics or prepare for actuarial exams. My sessions are tailored to each student's unique learning style, combining patience, clarity, and real-world examples to demystify complex concepts and build confidence. I usually wok in one-on-one situations, where I can focus and hone in on that individual students' questions.
Whether it’s mastering algebra, tackling actuarial problems, or learning technical tools like Excel, R, or VBA, my goal is to make learning engaging and empowering. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals and turning challenges into opportunities for growth. What sets me apart is my wide range of expertise and breadth of knowledge in numerous math courses. I look forward to working with you all soon.
