"Lauren taught in the Nonfiction Writing Program at Brown University for 9 years, and currently teaches in the English department at Johnson & Wales University. She has also taught creative writing and composition at University of Connecticut, Rhode Island College, Rutgers University, and Emerson College. She taught composition at Dean College, where she worked with international students and students with learning disabilities, Asperger's and ASD. She also works as a writing coach, editor, freelance writer, and consultant. She specializes in college essay prep, English, and creative writing.
