I specialize in economics and statistics at all levels. I am familiar with the economics and statistics departments at Yale, UPenn, Columbia, UChicago, USC, Michigan, Berkeley, UCLA, Stanford, UCSD, UC Davis, Dartmouth, and others, having tutored students from these universities for many years. I work with all levels of analysis and theory, from AP courses to graduate core theory.
My mother, a kindergarten teacher, instilled the value of education early. I began tutoring math as a volunteer during freshman year of high school after completing calculus in 8th grade. While at Columbia and UC Berkeley, I tutored economics and statistics in university learning centers. After earning my bachelor’s degree, I specialized in tutoring AP economics and statistics students, helping them earn 5s on AP exams. I also have years of experience tutoring special needs students, including those on the spectrum, with ADHD, and with executive function needs.
Excelling in math-based theory and analysis isn’t about memorizing formulas. Understanding the “why” makes memorization unnecessary. With an exceptional understanding of economics and statistics, I break concepts into simple steps that connect with a student’s understanding. This builds confidence and eliminates worries about forgetting formulas!
I graduated high school two years early as valedictorian. At Columbia and UC Berkeley, I was in the top of my class, including the top 5% of Berkeley economics majors. I’ve and the pleasure of working with Nobel Laureates. I am a published economist. Most recently I completed graduate economic coursework at Oxford University.
I look forward to meeting! Please feel free to reach out with any questions!" less...
