"I have a Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia and a J.D. from Harvard. I was an English Professor for several years and taught composition at Columbia University, where I also trained new composition instructors. While I was a professor, I was nominated a record-breaking number of times for a campus-wide teaching award. I'm currently a practicing attorney, but I tutor and edit on the side because, while I love my job, I also miss teaching!"
