I am a patient and enthusiastic educator with five years of work experience in the tech industry as a Software Engineer (Google, and robotics startup) as well as six years of teaching experience (for middle school, high school, and undergraduate students). I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, and taught as a Teaching Assistant for Penn’s Intro to Computer Science course (CIS 110) for three years.
My tutoring approach is tailored to each student’s needs, focusing on building a strong conceptual foundation while encouraging hands-on problem-solving. I start by identifying areas where the student feels less confident and create a personalized plan to address those gaps. I use real-world examples and interactive exercises to make abstract concepts relatable and engaging. Throughout the process, I do my best to foster a supportive environment, encouraging questions and celebrating progress to build the student’s confidence and independence.
