"Hello, I am Tyler. I graduated from my high school as the valedictorian (I am a straight A student) and attending Cornell University as part of the class of 2028. I intend to dual major in mathematics and computer science. I have always had a fascination for mathematics. I enjoy writing proofs and understanding mathematics on a deeper level, such as the reasons why certain formulas and theorems hold true. I primarily tutor any mathematics class in middle school or high school and several science classes (physics, computer science, and chemistry). However, I am open to tutoring other subjects as well. I have received a score of 5 on these APs: Calculus BC, Statistics, Chemistry, Computer Science A, US History, Physics 1, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, English Literature, Psychology, Physics C (both Mechanics and E&M), and Music Theory. I also received a score of 1580 on the SAT (perfect 800 in Math and 780 in English). Additionally, I have participated and scored well in several math competitions, such as my math team, the AMC, the AIME, and I competed on the Connecticut ARML team.

I have been tutoring my fellow high school classmates through my high school for the past year. They are usually one on one, but I have also taught small groups of 2 students. I try to find ways to make the concepts easier to understand to the students, and I show the students why the concepts work to make them truly comprehend the material. I help my students solve a problem by letting them try their own methods to solve the problem, and I provide guidance as they need it to help them fully understand how to answer it. If necessary, I will show my students how to do a couple of problems, and then I will have them do similar problems and ask me if they have any questions.

If anyone has any questions or wants to schedule a lesson, they can message me. I am open to suggestions and modifying lessons if necessary. I am easy to contact and will respond to messages quickly." less...
