"My highest level graduate degree (an LL.M.) was conferred by Columbia University, yes--the Ivy-League school located in New York City, where I was named a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. In college, I graduated summa cum laude, phi beta kappa, and #1 in my major (History). I went on to become a law review rockstar and have published three professional law review articles. I believe learning can be fun and that it can create new levels of self-confidence in individuals, especially when critical and analytical writing skills are enhanced. It's a game changer.
I am a lawyer (member of the bar in PA and NJ), a former 3rd Circuit law clerk (for those who speak that lingo) and also a certified personal trainer and group exercise instructor. In both professional capacities, I have worked one-on-one with people who have a significant challenge ahead. A tutor is like an academic personal trainer. When I personal train, I get people in great physical shape. When I tutor, I get their mind and writing skills in great shape relative to what they are studying. I cannot do the work for you. But I can calm the storm and bring light where there is darkness.
I have published three professional journal articles and have written thousands of pages of analytical documents for the most demanding audiences in American academia and beyond. I was a law review editor. I know how to polish written submissions (essays, papers, essay exams, bar exam essays, research papers) in a way that impresses the reader/grader.
I graduated summa cum laude, phi beta kappa, and #1 in the Department of History in College. In high school, I scored a "5" (highest possible score) on the AP American history exam. I have a love of history and a love of teaching. As a lawyer carrying extra academic credentials, I can be of great help in subjects like government, political science, law-related courses, etc.
I am compassionate, patient, and focused. I can simplify concepts that may seem overly complex. I can help you write like an All-Sta" less...
