"My name is Joan. I earned my PhD in organic chemistry and I have been teaching this awesome subject since 2008. I enjoy teaching organic chemistry because I find that I can help students relate the material to their daily lives. I am meticulous and have excellent organizational skills that has enabled me to organize organic chemistry content in a way that makes it easier for students to learn and grasp the concepts. I enjoy breaking down the topics to the level of each student. I understand the challenging nature of this subject and am always determined to ensure that the student gets it. I am willing to do as many examples as I can until I am confident that the student understands the concepts.
