My name is Serena and I have 6+ years of experience in college admissions counseling and K-12 tutoring. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in three years, majoring in public health, and am currently a physician assistant (PA) graduate student. My high school statistics include receiving the maximum score of 5 on all eight of my AP exams (Biology, Chemistry, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Psychology, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Chinese) and a 35 on my first time taking the ACT exam. I was accepted into numerous prestigious universities with full-ride scholarships and during my time at JHU, I was promoted to a prominent leadership position at a national nonprofit providing college applications advising to thousands of high school students across the country. My success in high school and the college admissions process makes me uniquely, highly qualified in general K-12 tutoring and college applications advising. In addition, I am bilingual (Chinese and English), so I can assist with ESL studies and teach students who are more comfortable with Chinese.

Since high school, I have been involved in various volunteering, non-profit, and business initiatives related to tutoring. It is my honor to help and see my students succeed.
