"I am Jorge! I a graduate of the University of Georgia in 2022 with a B.S. in Bio/Neuroscience. Throughout college, I learned that what can make a student succeed in even the most overwhelming courses is the support and passion of a great instructor. Throughout my entire college work, I've met some of the brightest and most inspiring professors I have ever met, and I would like to offer not only what I learn but their passion to younger students. I also plan to be a Pediatrician someday, so being charismatic and caring with younger kids is something I have always been good at.

I have experience tutoring when I used to work at Lifetime Fitness, where we had a short study break for the kids in the play center during the school year. I would find myself tutoring a lot of math and sometimes elementary Spanish. I was also a Teaching Assistant for my Chemistry Lab class, which was extremely rewarding as I managed to help and show some leniency towards students who were in the same shoes as I was not so long ago. I will always be flexible and will ensure time for my students to practice their work because I am a big believer that anyone can succeed in anything with a lot of practice but with help along the way.

I am currently a Medical School applicant, thus I have taken the notorious and difficult MCAT. I scored in the 95th percentile in the Chem/Phy section and the Psych/Soc section. I have a good knowledge of the required courses, structure, and techniques needed to be successful on exam day. I have done extensive research on the best sources that a student can use to prepare for the exam. I would love to help students on this exam as I am a two-time test taker.
