I like to make learning fun by incorporating games in my lessons and working with each student to find out what motivates them to learn. I believe in building a teacher/student relationship with each of my students so they will trust me and want to do their best for me.
I am a certified early childhood, elementary, and special education teacher. I have been teaching reading for 30 years. I have been trained in many reading programs including Fountas & Pinnell and Wilson. I constantly keep myself updated with the latest research on effective reading strategies.
