"I have over three years of tutoring experience. At Arizona State University, I was a writing tutor for my campus' writing lab. I gained valuable experience working with a diverse set of students and received high positive feedback. On Wyzant, I have honed my skills to specifically help college students and adult learners. However, I do not tutor special education methods (Orton Gillingham, etc.) or standardized tests (SAT, GRE, GED, etc.). Currently, I am pursuing a Master's Degree in English at Bowling Green State University in Ohio.

I can help you with discussion boards, essays, reports, and research papers on a wide range of subjects. In addition, I can teach you the basics of writing: brainstorming, creating an outline, understanding the parts of an essay, conducting research, and proofreading and editing. Lastly, I can provide proofreading and editing services in combination or separately from lessons. I can point out errors on word choice, sentence structure, organization, and citations and provide recommendations. I charge $6 for every 250 words to review and takes me about 24 hours. For assignments longer than 2,000 words, I charge $5/250 words.

1) I have a 12-hour cancellation/reschedule policy. A lesson cancelled or rescheduled less than 12 hours before the start time is subject to the full hourly rate.

2) Please notify me if running a few minutes late to the lesson. I typically wait 15 minutes before leaving. A no-show is subject to the full hourly rate.
