"I am a new graduate student from UB majoring in Chemical Engineering with a minor in math. The reason I chose this major is that I love math and chemistry.

I have two semesters of experience as a math tutor in math center of Queensborough Community College, City University of New York. I enjoyed the experience to teach people and share the knowledge and method of math. English is my second language but math gives me another language to communicate with others.

I have met so many students from QCC who were confused by the way professors explained math. I had my middle school and high school in China. I may have different approaching way to solve math problems, But, normally, I would follow professors' methods first since it was the way student may easier to understand. Furthermore, I would explain my own way, which will be a good way to double check the answer. I believe it will be a good experience to learn math with me.
