"Hi, I'm Paul. I hold a bachelor's degree with honors in history from Saint Anselm College, and I minored in politics. I have studied a wide range of topics within the history field including world history, American history, African history, and European history.

I have three online tutors myself (German, Spanish, and French), so I know what it's like to be on the other end of an online tutoring relationship. I love reading about all subjects related to history and politics, and there aren't many specifics that I haven't read something about at least once. I was a writing assistant at my college's Writing Center when I was a student, and I assisted many people with their essays. I am a creative writer, have been in multiple writing groups, and I have taken writing classes since I was in elementary school. In high school, I took several AP classes (English, History) and several honors-level classes.

I have taken a wide variety of high-level history courses since high school. Even my politics minor focused heavily on historical subjects including European history (the formation of the EU) and the modern Middle East (the Arab Spring since 2011). I have taken multiple classes on World History, African History, and European History (the UK since 1688, Germany, Yugoslavia, Poland, Romania). In addition, I am a voracious reader of history in my free time, up to and including academic journals. As a result I am broadly familiar with other subjects including but not limited to Labor History, the History of Philosophy, and Religious History (both Christianity and Islam).
