"The ultimate equalizer is education. My academic journey is proof of that. I grew up in Vallejo, California, where teen pregnancy and poverty rates far surpassed graduation rates. My way out was education. I graduated high school with a 4.45 GPA and graduated university Magna Cum Laude. I paid for my education waiting tables and walking dogs. Nothing is more important to me than sharing knowledge and helping others achieve their academic goals.

Now a Juris Doctor candidate in law school and young professional working in public policy, I hope to encourage and guide students to achieve success in their own academic endeavors. I have college level teaching experience, as I was a Teacher's Assistant for a Macroeconomic Theory course. In this position, I graded papers, assisted in crafting lesson plans, provided research for my professor's publications and taught study and test prep sessions for students. In addition to this, I also have experience tutoring and working with young children.
