"Hey everyone! My name is Loulou and I'm from a small cattle ranching community in Northeastern Nevada. I'm currently attending Utah State University and I am majoring in the pre-vet major. I've always loved both mathematics and science, and I excelled in these courses throughout my years in school, especially math. It was always my strongest subject, and I'm excited to be able to help other students with it! I hope to be able to not only help students become better at math, but to also help them find a love for it, because math can be pretty fun!
I took Algebra I and Geometry in middle school, and I took Algebra II, Pre-calculus, AP Calculus BC, and Statistics in high school. I passed all of these classes with straight A's, and received "Student of the Year" awards in several of them. I got a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam. I also won several math competitions in my high school.
I'd like to teach mainly Algebra I and II, Geometry, and ACT math, as these are the subjects I understand the best. The best way for me to learn is through understanding the concept behind the problems and then to work a lot of practice problems and to see a lot of examples, so this is how I'll try to teach.
